Design Hell

I’ve got to share this comic. The first time I read it I cracked up and had to forward it to some of my friends who are graphic designers and web designers.

The comic is called Design Hell and it is by The Oatmeal.

It does a great job of showing the frustrations that many clients can bring. While there are a lot of great clients out there, and of course we do need them to stay in business, this comic sums up the frustrations of those who work in Web design. I swear that I have had everything happen to my Web design company that happens in this comic strip.

See for yourself – Design Hell by The Oatmeal.

Google Superbowl Ad Parodies

If you have been on Facebook for a while you understand how amazing the site is and how easy it is to connect with people from your past. It’s amazing how many people from your past you connect with who are all there offering friend requests. I am friends with people that I have not seen since elementary school. I am even friends with my kindergarten teacher.

It can go on from there, there are high school friends, college friends, former colleagues, and the list just goes on. Apparently, Facebook doesn’t think that is enough because today they released their Automatic Friend Finder. More »

SEO And Internet Business In 2010

Internet Business Management

Internet Business Management

As 2009 winds down, I reflect on what an exciting year it was. My business grew and through social media and networking I have made some great connections and built some quality relationships.

Over the past few years, my efforts have been concentrated on Search Engine Optimization (SEO). In 2009, SEO is still a big part of what I do, but things change so fast that outside of Web design and content, there is much more than just efforts to game the search engines. More »
