Twitter Lists Help To Give Order To Feeds

Twitter Lists

Twitter Lists

One of my biggest frustrations with following lots of people on twitter was a lack of focus. I follow friends from Squidoo, friends from real life, family, SEO gurus, tech gurus, athletes and news sources. It was so hard to just log in to twitter and to get a feel for what people were doing.

Twitter has the answer in twitter list. So far I have only made one list and that is for my Squidoo friends. I plan on making several more. I also plan on following more people now that I can categorize them in lists. Before, I feared that the more people that I followed, the more I would miss.

To get started on making your own Twitter list, simply click on the following link below your bio. From there you will see to drop down menus to the right of the people that you are followings image and bio. Click once on the left menu and you will be able to start a list. From there, you can categorize the people that you are following so that you easily stay up to date with different themes of feeds.

So if you are on Twitter and have not yet created your Twitter list, what are you waiting for? Get started today.

  • I totally agree with you Jeff. Twitter Lists are going to be very helpful. I have created a squidoo list as well and I will take some time to sort the others out as well. Not sure about this – but can you tweet to just a particular list?
