5 Best SEO Blogs

One thing that is for sure in the world of SEO is that there are a lot of “SEO experts” out there. Working in the search engine optimization and Internet marketing industry, I do my best to stay up on the latest happenings in the field.

Staying on top of the latest SEO news means that I spend a lot of time reading blogs. The problem can be for those who want to learn legitimate SEO info is who can you trust for the best information.

In this blog post I’d like to share 5 of the Best SEO Blogs that I read. There are some other great ones out there that I will feature in the future, but for now I would like to share with you what are to me the 5 Best SEO Blogs in no particular order.

1. Search Engine Journal first started in 2003 and they have established themselves as industry leaders in Search Engine Optimization and Internet marketing. They are a community focused blog which reports on search engine news & the sharing of Search Engine Marketing knowledge & tactics.
2. SEOMOZ is more than just an SEO blog. They describe themselves as, “as a hub for search marketers worldwide, providing education, tools, resources and paid services to help every SEO to be the best they can be.” Led by Rand Fishkin, the SEOmoz blog is read by tens of thousands of search professionals each day and provides the tools, the information, and the expertise to help anyone improve their knowledge of search engine optimization and Internet marketing.
3. Search Engine Land is a news and information site that covers search engine marketing, searching issues and the search engine industry. They are led by journalist Danny Sullivan, who is widely considered to be an industry leader and has been covering search for the past 11 years.
4. SEOBook is led by Aaron Wall. It is more than just a SEO Blog, it really is one of the first sites that anyone who wants to learn about SEO should visit. Aaron provides a ton of free tools, articles, and information that can teach you the ins and outs of Search Engine Optimization.
5. Hobo SEO is one of my favorites. Hobo SEO blog is spearheaded blog by Shaun Anderson and the blog is visited by over 50,000 visitors a month. On their SEO Blog, they share tips and ideas about Google Search Engine Optimization. I really appreciate Shaun’s perspective and personality as he shares his incredibly valuable insight.
